The Euro Foto Art Gallery, FIAP Oradea Exhibition Center – Romania, within the Museum of the Land of the Cress - Museum Complex, the Oradea City Museum section hosted on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 4:00 p.m., the opening of the exhibition of the renowned photographer artist Kerekes István EFIAP/ d3 from Mosonmagyaróvár ( HU), organized with the support of Sumit Agro Romania and transmitted live: https://www.facebook.com/EuroFotoArtAssociation The author of the exhibition also participated in the event, who crossed the neighboring country from the extreme west to the east. The public present at the opening was greeted by the representative of the Oradea City Museum, dr. Cristina Pușcaș, museographer, who thanked the exhibiting artist photographer for the fact that he had traveled almost a day to reach Oradea. "We are happy for the fact that such a personality of the global photography world honored our opening today with his presence, as well as for the fact that he brought us a similar exhibition, unprecedented in Oradea" the representative of the Museum section emphasized in her speech Oradea city. Next, the artist photographer Ștefan Tóth István ESFIAP, AFIAP, president of the International Association "Euro Photo Art" (AIEFA) stated "The exhibition opened today is an unprecedented delight in our city, which should be enjoyed properly! The exhibiting artist demonstrated an important thing, which should also be in the attention of contemporary creators: in simplicity is complexity and not the other way around! His works were done with great craftsmanship! István Kerekes has a special strategy to get close to the core of the problems with the camera... His creations radiate originality, simplicity and a visual message, which challenges the viewers to admire the exhibits for a long time. He has a special gift for pressing the camera button exactly when he needs to….” stated the curator of the exhibition. The editor Szűcs László presented the context in which he met the exhibiting photographer artist 6 years ago, when he entered the Hungarian Photojournalist Contest. "During the six editions, he won dozens of prizes, medals and trophies with his works! His reportage photos were made at a special artistic level. The exhibiting photographer demonstrated the fact that a reportage photo can be made in such a way that, in addition to its documentary value, it also becomes an artistic creation..." stated the editor from Oradea in his speech, who in the end handed him a frame festive gold medal "Carol Pop de Szathmári – Szathmári Pap Károly" obtained at the last edition of the international Competition. In conclusion, the exhibiting photographer artist Kerekes István EFIAP/ d3 originally from Târgu Mureș emphasized "For me, Oradea and the Club Fotografi "Nufărul" Oradea (CFNO) of which I was a member for 3 years are two things of reference! I remember with nostalgia my first contact during my student days in Cluj Napoca with the photographer artist Ștefan Tóth István ESFIAP, AFIAP, from whom I could learn a lot! I am extremely happy that today we met again and for the fact that I also met with other photographic artists from Oradea" stated the exhibiting photographer artist. In conclusion, the president of AIEFA and CFNO handed over the certificate of patronage of the International Association to the photographer artist Kerekes István EFIAPd3. On this occasion, the exhibiting photographer artist was declared an Honorary Member of AIEFA. The musical moments of the opening were offered by the artist Thurzó Sándor József, the representative of the Cultural Group "Duo Sola Fide" from Oradea, who performed several pieces from the Hungarian repertoire: "Berceuse" by Zsolt Nándor, "Secă la secui" by Bartók Béla , "Arioso" by Farkas Ferenc and "Romance oublier" by Liszt Ferenc. In conclusion at 17:30 photographic artists from Oradea had a meeting of the photographic artist Kerekes István EFIAPd3 and a debate on photographic art moderated by the president of AIEF and CFNO.
