In 1990, the well-known photographer artist Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP, ESFIAP, laid the foundations of the "Euro Foto Art" Gallery, where more than 600 photographic art exhibitions have been opened to date and more than 40,000 creations of photographic artists from all over the world have been presented to the visiting public . This Gallery has become the longest-running permanent gallery of photographic art in Romania. As a sign of appreciation for the international prestige of this gallery, the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), recognized by UNESCO, granted the status of Center at the meeting of the Board of Directors held in May 2019, in Belfast (Northern Ireland) Exhibition FIAP Oradea – Romania (the 17th in the world and the only one in Romania). The Exhibition Centers were designed so that, in addition to their character as permanent exhibition halls, they also become creative workshops for photographic artists with FIAP distinctions, which initiate various debates, colloquiums or international photographic art symposia. In this context, the director of the FIAP Oradea Exhibition Center – Romania, photographer artist Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP, ESFIAP, initiated the organization of the members' first exhibition in a national premiere. The international photographic art exhibition entitled "Dialogue with Light" organized in partnership with the Museum of the Land of the Crișurilor - Museum Complex, through the section of the Oradea City Museum, and with the support of Summit Agro Romania, under the auspices of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), is made up of 72 of black-and-white and color photographs taken by members of the FIAP Oradea Exhibition Center – Romania: Iurie Foca AFIAP (MD), Ovidiu Gabor EFIAP (RO), Petrila Gheorghe EFIAP (RO), István Kerekes EFIAPd3 (HU), Eszter Emese Lázár AFIAP ( GR), Lajos Nagy EFIAPd3 (RO), Ovi D. Pop EFIAPg (RO), Béla Szabó EFIAP (HU), Claudiu Szabó EFIAP (RO), Gelu Stan AFIAP (RO), Stan Valentina EFIAP d1 (RO) and Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP, ESFIAP (RO). It is to be appreciated that most of the exhibiting photographic artists are graduates of the renowned Oradean photographic artist Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP, ESFIAP (RO). "For me, the awarding of the international title of the longest-running gallery in Romania, founded by me, meant a professional recognition and a work of several decades. The second satisfaction related to the organization of this inaugural exhibition of the members of the FIAP Exhibition Center refers to the fact that most of the members are graduates of the course of photographic technique and art that I have been leading for several decades. It is a special joy to be able to exhibit with your former students, who over the years have obtained various FIAP distinctions, following the results obtained at various international Salons organized under the patronage of FIAP! In other words, it is a special joy for me that the last exhibition of this year is made up of a joint collection, very valuable from an artistic point of view" stated the curator of the exhibition Ștefan Tóth István. The opening of the exhibition will take place on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 4:00 p.m., in the Euro Photo Art Gallery, FIAP Oradea Exhibition Center – Romania, within the Museum of the Country of Criss - Museum Complex, section of the Oradea City Museum, and will be broadcast online on Facebook of the Association: https://www.facebook.com/EuroFotoArtAssociation The musical moments of the opening will be provided by the artist Thurzó Sándor József, representative of the Cultural Group "Duo Sola Fide" from Oradea, who will perform the songs "Air" by Macalik Alfréd , "Miniature No. 2" by Carlos de Almeida, "Largo for solo viola" by Dankó János. The exhibition of the most renowned photographic artists in Europe can be visited until 19.01.2023, from Tuesday to Sunday, between 09:00 and 17:00 (Monday - closed).
