FROM TRANSCARPATIA (UA) The Euro Photo Art Gallery, FIAP Oradea Exhibition Center – Romania, within the section of the Oradea City Museum, belonging to the Museum of the Country of Criss - Museum Complex, hosted on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 17:00, the opening of the exhibition of photographic artists from Trascarpathia, organized with the support of Summit Agro Romania, under the auspices of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP). The public present at the event was greeted by Dr. Diana Iancu, museographer at the Oradea City Museum section of the Țării Crisurilor Museum - Museum Complex, who appreciated the initiative of organizing this exhibition of exceptional photographic art and invited the artist photographer Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP, ESFIAP, the president of AIEFA and the curator of the exhibition to speak further, The well-known artist photographer from Oradea presented the context in which this exhibition was organized and regretted the fact that he could not personally participating in this special opening is the president of the Association of Artists F autographers from Transcarpathia (AFT), the photographer artist Volodimir Norba from Uzhhorod. Instead, the ZOOM platform offered the opportunity for him to speak live at the opening. The president of AFT stated "I am glad that this exhibition was organized with the support of the Cultural Foundation of Ukraine, within the Photographic Platform of Ukraine founded in 2021. Before the invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, I agreed with the president of AIEFA that this exhibition should be presented in your city, during the exchanges of the FIAP Exhibition Centers in Oradea (RO) and Ujhorod (UA), which have their headquarters in the medieval fortresses of the two cities. Thank you very much for organizing this exhibition of photographic art from Transcaratia in Oradea, and I express my hope that we will be able to defeat the aggressors" emphasized the photographer artist Volodimir Norba in his speech. The literary secretary Elisabeta Pop appreciated the artistic value of the exhibits. "I noticed in many of the landscape photos and portraits the presence of fog, which has a special symbol of the uncertainty in which the Ukrainian people are at this time. The photos on display also convey feelings of optimism and confidence..., life must go on!” stated the well-known literary secretary from Oradea. Editor Szűcs László specified in his speech: "I was impressed when I first saw the exhibited images on the AIEFA website, but even more so when I saw the photos in reality on the screens of the well-known Photographic Art Gallery! Among the exhibited photos I noticed several genres of photographic art: such as still life and special portraits. The exhibited photos have an accentuated graphic, which is actually the element that defines the unity of the exhibited creations". The musical moments of the opening were offered by the artist Thurzó Sándor József, representative of the Cultural Group "Duo Sola Fide" from Oradea, who performed several pieces from the European repertoire: "Dreaming" by R. Schumann, "Si tu mi ai zis " by A Lotti, "Lullaby" by Zsolt Nándor and "Doje cel mare" by Mykola Lysenko.
