The exhibition number 618 was organized by the International Association "Euro Photo Art" (AIEFA), the only Regional Member of (https://www.fiap.net/en/members/irfiap in partnership with Summit Agro Romania, the Association of Photographers from Transcarpathia from Uzhhorod (UA), the Museum of the Country of the Cress Oradea - Museum Complex, through the section of the Oradea City Museum and the "Şinca" Foundation from Oradea. Next, Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP, ESFIAP, the president of AIEFA and the curator of the exhibition spoke about the personal relationships he had with the late exhibiting artist photographer presented his arguments regarding the artistic value of the exhibits "The exhibited works in addition to presenting the landscapes wonderful landscapes of Ukraine and the folk traditions of the neighboring country, suggest to the visitor a peace of mind and the special joy of life of the people photographed. It is a great pity that these beauties and moods are disturbed by the destruction suffered by the merciless war. I express my desire that everything will return to the normality in which the late photographer artist Vasyl Pylypyuk created the exhibited photographs". The event was broadcast online from the AIEFA address in Romanian and Ukrainian thanks to the "Şinca" Foundation from Oradea, which delegated for this voluntary service the refugee Amelia Antohi from Ukraine, who in the end specified "I arrived in Oradea because of the war, where I feel very good. Unfortunately, my parents and relatives stayed in Ukraine, which I think about a lot. On this occasion, I was able to get to know Romania better, which is a very beautiful and welcoming country, as well as Oradea, where I currently live. However, I hope that soon the war will end and I will return to my family in Ukraine". The musical moments of the opening in Oradea were provided by the representative of the Cultural Group "Duo Sola Fide" from Oradea, the viola artist Thurzó Sándor József, who performed two pieces by Ukrainian composers: "Mare Doje" by Mykola Lysenko (1842-1912 ) and "Poem Carpatin" by Mykhaylo Fomenko (1948-), arrangement for solo viola by performer. The exhibition of the artist photographer from Ukraine will remain available to tourists and the visiting public in Oradea until 25.07.2023, from Tuesday to Sunday, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (closed on Mondays).
