«My Romania» in Ukraine
Photographic Art Association of Transcarpathia and the Transcarpathian museum of regional studies named after Tivadar Lehoczky within the framework of cooperation between the creative photographic unions of the Carpathian region – Uzhhorod (Ukraine) and Oradea (Romania), presented the photo exhibition «My Romania» in the westernmost regional center of Ukraine. Its author is Ovi D. POP (EFIAP/g), who is nowadays one of the most successful Romanian photographers.
After the 100th photo exhibition of Ovi D. POP has been opened in the Romanian Parliament, the today's personal exhibition of the famous photo artist has been shown in Uzhhorod. The exposition presents 47 photos of the author, among them the works that have won 2,100 awards (540 gold medals as the 1st place trophies) in 87 countries of the world over the past ten years.
Ovi D. POP (EFIAP/g) was born on the 9th of April 1973 in Oradea. The author has been engaged in photography for over 20 years, preferring portrait photography, nude aerial photography, and street photography. Author participated as member of the jury of international photo contests in Croatia, Ukraine, China, Denmark, Nepal, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Italy, Australia, India, Ecuador and Romania.
From 2016 he has grounded the first authorized Photo School in Oradea becoming the authority from the Ministry of Work and the Ministry of Education of Romania.
