Photographic Art Association of Transcarpathia has presented on the 13th of June in The Carpathian FIAP Exhibition Center within the framework of the project «World supports Ukrainian artists» photo exhibition by the Slovak photo club from the city of Košice. The exposition consists of 45 pictures by the 8 photographers: Adrian KLEMA, Vlado LATTA, Karel ULMANN, Robert PARNICA, Jan TKAČ, Štefan LIPTAK, Gabriel JAKAB, Daniel PASTUCHA.
Vice President of the Association of Košice photographers K-91 Ing. Daniel Pastucha (EFIAP, AZSF) noted during his speech by the exhibition opening: «The members of the Košice Photographers' Association K-91 are presenting you a selection of photographs in connection with the members' exhibition from 2022 in Košice and this year's club exhibition in cooperation with WDK Rzeszów (Poland). The creativity of our club, whose history began in 1960, was represented in this exposition by 8 authors. Unfortunately, less than a month ago, one of the founders of K-91, the other chairman of the photo club and an excellent photographer, lecturer and organizer Ing. Igor Šimko left us suddenly and forever. Please, let's pay him a silent memorial».
Two members of the photo club took part in the opening: Štefan LIPTAK (MZSF), the oldest one and Robert PARNICA, the youngest one. During the opening of the exhibition Robert also mentioned: «We are very glad that in this way – by presenting our creativity, we can support our Ukrainian colleagues who are fighting for the right to live».
The exhibition will last till June 27th, 2023.
