You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved."...
Franco AMELI - I was born in 1964 and am happily married with three children. Photography has been an integral part of my life since my youth, driven by a desire to capture life's moments, occasions, and the essence of friendships – to freeze those fleeting, beautiful instances in time. Over the last 20 years, my love for photography has evolved into a profound passion, particularly in capturing landscapes. Through the lens, I find myself immersed in nature's diverse facets, from its tranquil serenity to its most tumultuous storms. Planning plays a pivotal role in my photography expeditions, encompassing meticulous considerations of location and weather. Often, capturing the perfect shot entails enduring long treks, especially in mountainous terrain. Yet, these efforts only serve to enrich the world of photography for me. Landscape photography, to me, embodies moments of silence, patient anticipation, and complete immersion in the allure of beauty. It's about seeking those intimate images that resonate deeply. While disappointments in the absence of ideal lighting or weather conditions during a shoot are common, the sheer joy of being amidst nature overshadows any setbacks. To enhance my skills, I've attended courses both abroad and in Italy, learning from seasoned landscape photographers. Additionally, I am proud to be a member of the Italian Association of Medical Photographers (AMFI) and the Italian Federation of Photographic Associations (FIAF). My work has received recognition, including awards and commendations in national and international competitions. My passion for photography continues to flourish, driving me to explore and capture the beauty that surrounds us.
