Cathal McNaughton is an multi-award-winning photojournalist currently based between Ireland and Germany.

In 2018 he was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of the Rohingya refugee crisis in Myanmar and Bangladesh. Now working for EPA Images as a Managing Editor he was previously chief photographer for Reuters in India and has travelled extensively documenting stories of world importance, most recently in Ukraine.

During this presentation Cathal showed images spanning a 25 year career documenting the best and worst of humanity. Cathal gave all who attended an insight into the emotional strain and sacrifices that need to be made in order to become a leading photojournalist.
