I was born in Myanmar in 1981 and have been working as a civil engineer in building construction for 18 years. My photography started in 2014, and my interest in nature and travel photography has developed. I participated in photo competitions in 2016 and received over 300 awards from local and international photo competitions.
In 2017, I won 1st place in the nature and travel categories at the International Photography Awards (IPA) and also received a HIPA merit medal award in the portfolio category.
I was awarded the Master of the Photographic Society of America (MPSA) and the EFIAP in 2019. I also received the GPSA Portfolio Distinction from PSA in 2021 and the Fellowship of the Photographic Society of Singapore (FPSS) in 2022.
I have also been awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain (FRPS) in 2022.
I served as a mentor for the photography course, and I encouraged amateur photographers to participate in international competitions in order to help them develop their abilities and receive the recognition and honors they deserved. I introduced and promoted the FIAP & PSA international salons at the Myanmar Photographic Society in 2017 and guided many members to obtain their photographic distinctions.
I have been serving as a jury member of the international photography salon as well as a PSA country membership director and liaison officer for Myanmar since 2019 until today.
