Acceptations and awards won by participants in events with FIAP patronage are selectable for FIAP distinctions.
FIAP Auspices are granted to international photographic events that do not fulfill the conditions for obtaining FIAP Patronage, like
commemorations, jubilees, exhibitions, etc.
