CU «Photographic Art Association of Transcarpathia», Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of Transcarpathian regional State Administration and Department of Tourism and Resorts of Transcarpathia have presented on the October 30 in The Carpathian FEC the photo exhibition of the best works of the photo contest «Transcarpathia. Natural spaces for life and creativity». The exposition of the photo exhibition is presented from the 35 best works of the photo contest, which the jury selected from the 312 photos presented by 30 authors. At the opening, the best 15 photos of the competition were awarded.
Yurii Shpontak – the head of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of Transcarpathian regional State Administration noted: «We are grateful to all the participants of the photo contest «Transcarpathia. Natural spaces for life and creativity», which was held to promote the protection of the natural environment of our region. The presented exhibition of 35 photos selected by the jury reveals the prospects of our cooperation with active and creative people». Marianna – Hotra the head of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Transcarpathia (Zakarpattia) Regional State Administration noted: «Thank you to the participants of the photo contest, who presented the beauty of the Transcarpathian nature reserves with their creative works, expanding their attractiveness for tourists». FIAP is the only international organization in the field of photography with the status of recognition by UNESCO, and the exhibition in The Carpathian FEC presents photographs of natural spaces of Ukraine, which are included in the protection of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves. The exhibition will last till December 12, 2023.
