Photographic Art Association of Transcarpathia has presented on the 29th of July in The Carpathian FIAP Exhibition Center within the framework of the project «World supports Ukrainian artists» photo exhibition by the Slovak photo club «FoTOP» from the city of Topoľčianky. The exposition consists of 37 pictures by the 14 photographers: Miloslav BRANDT, Juraj VALKOVIČ, Miroslav BORKOVIČ, Miroslav MIHALIK, Pavol ČEPČEK, Miroslava KURKINOVА, Pavol ĽAHKY, Monika GDULOVA, Pavel KOVАČ, Ondrej SLАDEK, Tatiana OROLÍNOVÁ, Štefan ROŠKO, Simon IVANOVIČ, Radimír SIKLIENKA.
President of the photo club «FoTOP» Radimír Siklienka (EFIAP/b, AZSF) noted during his speech by the exhibition opening: «PHOTO CLUB Topoľčianky FoTOP celebrated its 15th anniversary this year. Our members regularly participate in photo salons under FIAP patronage around the world, where they receive numerous awards – several dozen medals, more than 150 honorable mentions and hundreds of acceptances. We also regularly win prizes at the largest Slovakian competition of Slovak amateur photographers named AMFO. This year, among the 20 participating photo clubs, we also won the first place at the important photography competition from the Czech and Slovak Republic named Tatranský mapový okruh 2023, and this success we consider to be one of the greatest recognitions of our photo club».
