Ching Ching Chan, EFIAP. FPSHK, ARPS
Ching Ching Chan is living in Hong Kong. She has been interested in different aspects of art since she was young. Started from painting as a kid, she has been fascinated in art and slowly evolved to photography nowadays. Being a housewife, she didn’t have enough time to explore the world. But as her daughter grew up, she started to discover her own hobby. In 2015, she stepped into the field of photography and started learning about this new art medium. She then became more and more interested and began bringing her camera to travel around the world. By capturing different people’s stories, culture as well as sceneries during the trips, her horizons were broadened, and the power of photography also fascinated her. Of all the places where she has travelled, the trips to Ethiopia, China Daliang Shan, Bangladesh, Cuba and Myanmar have been the most memorable and significant in her photographic journey. She started actively participating in international exhibitions (with PSA recognition and FIAP patronage) in 2019. The experiences from exhibitions have been enlightening and eye-opening for her. The platform allowed her to improve herself while learning and exchanging experiences with other international photographers. 2020 and 2021 have been a milestone to Ching Ching’s photographic career, apart from the photographic distinctions awarded, she has also been granted PSA 2020 “Who’s Who in Photography”: Photo Travel Division (PTD) Digital - 1st in the World; Projected Image Division (PID) Colour & Monochrome - both 2nd in the World; Nature Division (ND) Digital - 5th in the World; Pictorial Print Division (PPD) Large Colour Prints - 10th in the World. She received her AFIAP in 2020, EFIAP in 2021, Fellow of the Photographic Society of Hong Kong (FPSHK) in 2020 and Associate of The Royal Photographic Society (ARPS) in 2022. In the coming years, she will strive to keep learning to enrich herself and capture more enchanting photographic works for everyone.
